Dr. Ulrich Dropmann
Ulrich heads the Standardization activities for Nokia. He is responsible for global and regional standardization and technical regulation as spectrum. The team is part of the Nokia BellLabs CTO group.Ulrich is member of the Executive Committee of the Global Mobile Supplier Association (GSA). Prior to that Ulrich was responsible for Nokia Networks Industry Environment activities. Between 2007 and 2012 Ulrich lead the NSN 3GPP standardization team and has served as Head of Delegation to 3GPP.

Michael Ha is the Deputy Chief of Policy and Rules Division, Office of Engineering and Technology at the Federal Communications Commission. Since joining the Commission in 2010, he has been engaged in various proceedings on spectrum allocations for wireless broadband services, mobile/fixed satellite services, public safety services and unlicensed services. Michael’s recent focus has been on Spectrum Frontiers where mmW band spectrum above 24GHz is being made available for 5G services.

Federico Boccardi is a Principal Technology Advisor in Ofcom (the UK communication regulator). In Ofcom, he oversees the work of various engineers involved in the technical studies for 5G spectrum. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2002 and 2007 respectively, and a master in Strategy and Innovation from the Oxford Saïd Business School in 2014.

Andreas Mueller is a Senior Expert and Project Manager within the Corporate Research Department of Robert Bosch GmbH in Stuttgart, Germany. In his current role, he is coordinating Bosch’s research activities in the area of future industrial connectivity infrastructures, with a special focus on wireless communications and emerging 5G technologies. This is done in close collaboration with various business units and external partners in order to ensure a high practical relevance.

Karri Kuoppamaki is the Vice President of Technology Development and Strategy for T-Mobile USA. In this role, Karri is responsible for Radio Access related technology development activities, including device development, as well as ensuring alignment between T-Mobile USA Network Technology and the regulatory environment, specifically in the area of radio technology and spectrum policy.
