Dr. Arun Ghosh
Dr. Arun Ghosh is the Director of Advanced Wireless Technology Group with AT&T Labs where he leads the development and implementation of advanced wireless technology for 5G and beyond 5G Radio Access Network. Currently he is involved in the development and standardization of new technology for 5G mobile networks where his main area of focus are mmWave communication systems, massive MIMO systems and network architecture for 5G network, spectrum sharing, software defined radio access networks etc.

BOON LOONG NG (member, IEEE) received the Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) degree and the Ph.D. degree in Engineering from the University of Melbourne, Australia, in 2001 and in 2007, respectively. He is currently a Research Director with Samsung Research America – Standards & Mobility Innovation (SMI) Lab in Richardson, Texas. He leads a team researching on wireless communication technologies for 5G and beyond.

Douglas Castor is Senior Director of R&D at InterDigital’s Pennsylvania office, where he leads the incubation and development of emerging wireless technologies. In recent years, Doug and his team have developed InterDigital’s EdgeHaul™ and EdgeLink™ millimeter wave solutions that deliver mesh connectivity using a software defined networking (SDN) framework. He has supported roles in both product development and research innovations for 3G, 4G, 5G cellular and other wireless technologies.

Dr. Georg Hampel has more than 20 years of experience in mobile technologies, cellular and IP networking. In the last 5 years, he has been working in the development of new technologies for 5G cellular systems at wireless R&D at Qualcomm. Before, he worked at Bell Labs Research in networking, wireless communications and carrier platform development. He is presently rapporteur in 3GPP RAN WGs 2 and 3 for integrated access and backhaul.

Mark is a Nokia Bell Labs Fellow and a Department Head in the Standardization Research Lab with Nokia Bell Labs in Chicago. His research focuses on cellular network evolution and his team is looking at ways to meet the continued growth in data consumption and expanding diversity of wireless applications. Recently, his team has focused on 5G MIMO system simulations and has made numerous contributions to the 3GPP 5G New Radio work item.
