Dr. Peiying Zhu
Dr. Peiying Zhu is an IEEE Fellow and Huawei Fellow. She is currently leading 5G wireless system research in Huawei. The focus of her research is advanced wireless access technologies with more than 200 granted patents. She has been regularly giving talks and panel discussions on 5G vision and enabling technologies. She served as the guest editor for IEEE Signal processing magazine special issue on the 5G revolution and IEEE JSAC on Deployment Issues and Performance Challenges for 5G.

Mikael Höök joined Ericsson in 1994 and has held various positions targeting the research and standardization of 2G, 3G, 4G and now 5G. He is currently Research Area Director for Radio-research within Ericsson Research and based in Kista, Stockholm. The responsibility covers research on air-interface design, advanced signal processing, multi-antenna systems, radio network performance and propagation. Results are fed into standardization, regulation and product development. The work addresses 5G

Dr. Rangan received the B.A.Sc. at the University of Waterloo, Canada and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley, all in Electrical Engineering. He has held postdoctoral appointments at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and Bell Labs. In 2000, he co-founded (with four others) Flarion Technologies, a spin off of Bell Labs, that developed Flash OFDM, the first cellular OFDM data system and pre-cursor to 4G cellular systems including LTE and WiMAX.

Dr. Arun Ghosh is the Director of Advanced Wireless Technology Group with AT&T Labs where he leads the development and implementation of advanced wireless technology for 5G and beyond 5G Radio Access Network. Currently he is involved in the development and standardization of new technology for 5G mobile networks where his main area of focus are mmWave communication systems, massive MIMO systems and network architecture for 5G network, spectrum sharing, software defined radio access networks etc.

Dr. Ian C. Wong is Senior Manager of the Advanced Wireless Research group at National Instruments where he leads the company’s 3GPP and 802.11 wireless standards strategy and platforms for wireless system design, simulation, prototyping, and implementation. From 2007-2009, he was a systems research and standards engineer with Freescale Semiconductor where he represented Freescale in the 3GPP LTE standardization efforts.

Antti Toskala is responsible for Nokia’s 5G radio standardization. He has his MSc in Electrical Engineering from Tampere University of Technology. He has been the author and editor on the many books in the field, including recent books on HSPA+, VoLTE, LTE-Advanced and LTE Small Cell Optimization. He participates to 3GPP RAN standardization, and has also chaired 3GPP TSG RAN WG1 during HSPA development until 2003.
